Sex therapy in Atlanta, and online across five states
Desire that disappeared. A body that will not cooperate. Trauma you have never said out loud. This is a place to talk about all of it plainly, without shame and without being rushed.

Sex therapy is a conversation, not an examination
The single most common reason people put this off for years is not knowing what they are walking into. So let me take that off the table first.
Sex therapy is talk therapy. You stay fully clothed. There is no physical exam, no touching, no nudity, and nothing demonstrated in the room. We sit and talk, the same way we would about anxiety or grief, and between sessions I may suggest private exercises you work through on your own or with a partner, in your own home, on your own terms.
What makes it different from general counseling is not the format. It is that sex is treated as a normal, central part of being human rather than something we tiptoe around for six months before anyone says the real word. Most people have never had a single conversation about their sexual life where nobody flinched. That conversation is often where the work actually starts.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a PhD from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and eight years in practice, and sexual health has been a deliberate focus of that work. If a physical cause may be involved, I will say so and encourage you to loop in your physician. I do not diagnose or prescribe for medical conditions, and I am glad to coordinate so both halves of your care are pulling the same direction.
You might be here because
- Desire has quietly gone flat, and you cannot tell whether it is stress, the relationship, or you.
- You and your partner want sex at very different frequencies, and every conversation about it ends badly.
- Performance anxiety has turned something that used to be easy into something you dread.
- Sex hurts, or your body tenses up in a way you cannot talk yourself out of.
- Something happened to you, maybe long ago, and it still shows up in the bedroom.
- Trust broke after an affair, and you do not know how to be physical with each other again.
- Pornography or compulsive sexual behavior has started costing you things that matter.
- You are questioning your orientation, your desires, or the shape you want your relationships to take.
- You grew up being taught that your body was dangerous, and part of you still believes it.
- You have never told anyone the actual thing, and you are tired of carrying it alone.
What we work on together
Desire and arousal
Low desire, mismatched libido, and arousal that will not arrive on cue. We map what actually turns desire on and off for you, which is rarely what you have been told it should be.
Performance concerns
Erectile difficulty, early or delayed orgasm, and the anxiety spiral that grows around them. We work the anxiety and the pressure, and coordinate with your physician when a medical piece is in play.
Sexual trauma
Assault, coercion, childhood sexual abuse, and the ways the body keeps score. Paced carefully, at your speed, drawing on somatic work, Internal Family Systems, and trauma-focused approaches.
Intimacy after betrayal
Rebuilding physical closeness after an affair or a long deception, using Gottman Method couples work to handle the repair, the honesty, and the fear underneath both.
Sexual shame and religious messaging
When purity teaching, family silence, or a faith community left you believing desire itself was the problem. We take both the wound and the sacred seriously.
Identity and relationship structure
Orientation, kink, and consensual non-monogamy, approached without pathologizing. LGBTQ+ affirming, and you will not spend your first sessions justifying who you are.

How it works
A $25 consultation
Fifteen minutes. You do not have to explain everything, or anything, on the first call. We are only deciding whether this feels like the right room.
We set the pace
You decide what gets talked about and when. Nothing is pried out of you, and there is no schedule you are falling behind on.
In person or by video
Midtown Atlanta, or secure video from wherever you have privacy. Many clients find it easier to start online.
What you can expect from me
- Plain language. I will use the real words for bodies and behavior, and you can too.
- No moral scoreboard. My job is to help you get where you want to go, not to move you toward someone else's idea of normal.
- Confidentiality, within the standard legal and ethical limits I will explain up front.
- Honesty about scope. If what you need is medical, or is a better fit for another clinician, I will tell you and help you find them.
