Care for the whole Peach State

Georgia is not one place, and the right therapist is rarely the closest one. Sessions reach metro Atlanta and the counties around it, the coast at Savannah and Brunswick, the Fall Line cities of Macon, Columbus and Augusta, the college towns of Athens and Statesboro, and the farming country of South Georgia.

Clients join from Atlanta, Augusta, Columbus, Macon, Savannah, Athens, Sandy Springs, Roswell, Albany, Valdosta and Warner Robins, and from the towns in between. Because everything happens over secure video, availability is exactly the same wherever in the state you are: the deciding factor becomes fit rather than distance.

Scheduling

When we can meet

Because Georgia keeps Eastern time, every slot you see is already in your own clock. Nothing to convert.

In your local time, appointments run weekdays, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, plus every other Saturday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Sessions start on the hour, need at least 24 hours' notice, and can be booked up to four weeks ahead.

Worth knowing

The one state where you can also sit in the room

Georgia is different from the other ten. The practice has a physical office at 1720 Peachtree Road NW in Midtown Atlanta, so Georgians can choose in person, video, or a mix of the two, and change their mind later without changing therapists.

That mix is more useful than it sounds. Some people want the first few sessions face to face and are happy on video after that. Some want the reverse. Couples often prefer to be in the room together for the harder conversations and use video for the weeks in between. Parking, traffic on Peachtree and a bad week at work are all real, and a session that moves online rather than being cancelled is a session that still happens.

If you are outside metro Atlanta, in Savannah or Macon or Valdosta, the video option means the drive never enters the decision. Fit matters more than distance.

Common questions

Are you licensed to see clients in Georgia?
Yes. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor licensed in Georgia, one of eleven states where I hold a license, so we can meet legally and ethically wherever in the state you are.
Where is your office located?
The office is at 1720 Peachtree Road NW, Suite 431, Atlanta, GA 30309 - in Midtown on the Peachtree corridor. If getting there is ever a hurdle, we can switch any session to secure video.
Can I meet in person rather than by video?
Yes, and Georgia is the only state where that is an option. The office is at 1720 Peachtree Road NW, Suite 431, in Midtown Atlanta. You can also mix the two formats week to week, which many clients do.
Are you licensed in Georgia?
Yes. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia, licence number LPC014380, and Georgia is where the practice is based. It is one of eleven states where I hold a licence.
Is virtual therapy as effective as in-person?
For most concerns, yes. Research consistently finds telehealth therapy comparable to in-person care. Sessions happen over a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform: all you need is privacy, a device with a camera, and an internet connection.
